As long as it isn't a black Clark Kent.

so in other words you dont want a black superman. unless it isnt really superman just a guy that calls himself that

Beyonce is hot but she isn't white(not a racist). The picture of Megan fits the role better

depends on which earth he's from in the 52 universes. if its standard, average clark kent that we read in the comics every month, then no, he shouldn't be black, cos clark kent isn't black.

wait so you dont mind a black person playing wonder woman. but you don't want to see a black person playing wonder woman.

i'm really confused

diana prince isnt the only woman to ever be wonder woman. there's been artemis and hyppolita too... it stands to reason that if a black amazon could defeat diana in combat for the wonder woman title, then beyonce could play that character...

not that i think she should, tho, cos i think beyonce is a pretty poor actress.

but then how can you not mind ww being black when she has never been shown to be black?

If they're looking for a different amazon to be Wonder Woman, just so Beyonce could play her, it's Halle Berry's Catwoman all over again.

Agreed, This film if it ever gets made will focus on Diana Prince as Wonder Woman and her exploits..

Warner Bros already fracked up with Halle Berry as Catwoman so I highly doubt they'd do it all over again

No he is saying that he doesn't want a black woman playing Wonder Woman Diana. Apparently WW is a title and a black woman that isn't Diana being in a WW movie wouldn't bother him. Like he wouldn't mind seeing a black GL as long as the GL isn't Hal Jordan, Rayner etc.

i just explained that...

As a black man I take no offense to your post. Saying you don't want her to play WW because she is black is not racist seeing as the person she is playing has never had a black incarnation. If this was GL movie then I would accept a black lead because Stewart is black and there are thousands of GLs, and any of them can be black.

Also you are right she is an inexperienced actress. So far she has played a jive talking 70s agent, two singers (yeah she really showed us some versatility there. Who thought she could act so well as a singer?), and something else that I cant think of at the moment.

I'm thinking, WW's back story is another reason that i would find it hard to accept a black actress. I thought Michael Duncan was a perfect choice for Kingpin. Maybe, i was so accepting of a black actor in the role of Kingpin because Kingpins greatest characteristic was his size and intimidation. I cannot think of a more intimidating person in hollywood (physically) than a Michael Clark Duncan. As for Wonder Woman, well, like someone else already said, the Amazonian woman weren't black and nor were any of them ever portrayed as being black in the comics.

Although, i believe i have finally pin-pointed what my problem is with seeing a black Wonder Woman. I believe, that if Beyonce is cast to play Wonder Woman it would be for only two reasons. Political correctness and big name draw. Whereas, Michael Clark Duncan was cast to play the Kingpin because the casting crew could find no white man who resembled the Kingpins physical appearance as well as Duncan did. I do have to say though. I think i could easily accept a black woman as Wonder Woman if it were based on talent. But there is just something about Beyonce. She seems like a cool enough lady but it just seems like a smack in the face as a comic fan to see her as a possible choice to play Wonder Woman.

no Women alive today could play Wonder Woman of any race. She is an anomaly. She is supposed to be tall, ridiculously hot with a big bust and she has big muscles (like really) to boot.

No woman can match this, and they have to be able to act. Honestly, I have been thinking about this for a long time. Honestly, if I see a skinny wonder woman I will not be satisfied. In order to play WW you need like a Xena (lucy Lawless) but she would need to be more muscular, or a Chyna Doll, but she than would need to be hotter. I honestly cannot imagine anyone playing Chyna Doll. She is so unrealistic in real life. I think she would be the hardest role to cast for ever.

A Wonder Woman not played by you.

It's time for what? And exactly what would be a powerful thing? People like to throw that word around these days.

Firstly I hate Beyonce because:

- She's fake
- She thinks shes good enough to play Wonder Woman
- She thinks she should play it despite the racial differences between the main character (that has a long history) and herself.
- She obviously loves playing that race card.

I think that Beyonce is too small to play wonder woman. We'd need a tall, beautiful woman for that role.

I agree, MCD was a perfect choice on Kingpin. There are only two people that come to my mind that fit his stature. MCD and Paul Wight, aka The Big Show. I think they made the right choice there.

I co-sign that. Monica Bellucci wouldve been a great WW. Shes a bit old now.
