I thought Patience Philips existed for years though? I remember picking up a Catwomen issue years back before the movie came out thinking it was Selina but it turned out to be a Catwoman in a purple costume who had black hair and was a of mixed race. I also remember seeing the name Patience Philips. I never bought the issue but I always thought the movie was based off her. 😕
