I'd say Superman could destroy a planet between Venus and Mars size...I don't think he's got enough juice to destroy an Earth size planet. I'd also put Hulk down (pick an incarnation), and Silver Surfer.

Just like the last time you said goodbye KMC and you never left???
Yes, because Surfer almost has anything showing him with the capability to destroy a planet with strength...
The only one off the top of me head that have destroyed a planet is Gladiator. Then you have people like Drax who have destroyed planetoids, and small suns with brute strength. Then you have a list of people able to do so with momentum... Champion, Superman Prime, Hulk (although it was an asteroid, and probably not as durable as a planet), and planetoids/moons with momentum, Superman. And people who needs weapons; Beta Ray Bill, and apparently Thor can destroy planetoids with his hammer.
Meh.

He's physically overpowered Hulk more than once. One time while weakened and without the Power Cosmic amping him. He's also dropped Ravenous to his knees during their little grappling match. That's my reasoning for saying he should have the brute strength to destroy a planet, considering most of us think Hulk and Supes can.
Hell, Stardust has physically overpowered BRB during the Stormbreaker arc, too. Galactus' heralds are da shiite. (But judging by the respect threads you've made, I don't need to tell you that.)
Originally posted by EnyalusI realize. However, indicating strength to destroy the planet, would mostly mean that he would have to punch the planet to destroy it. I don't think that Surfer has ever shown that raw strength before. While he may be able to hang with high strength guys with raw strength, he's really got nothing saying he could destroy a planet with fisticuffs. With Surfer, I see it more as being able to cause massive damage in a limited area (as that's what he does when he hits).

Stardust doesn't have as much showings as Surfer though, so we don't know if she's stronger, or weaker yet. As well as one feat doesn't imply she could punch a planet to dust. Especially when Beta is only able to destroy one on-panel with Stormbreaker.
Honestly, all top tiers will have the needed strength to destroy a planet. It just depends on how many punches we're talking about. Hell, I'm sure the Thing could eventually destroy earth if he was allowed enough time to keep punching.
If we're talking about people that could destroy the earth with say,,,,5 punches or less, that narrows the list down.

In some incarnations, stronger.
