I found a lot of metionings in 52 and countdown that will count as retcons for Superman.

Currently there is a really fine line between PC superman and Modern Superman. Not power wise, because power wise PC is way ahead, but I mean event wise.

There is an instance in modern comics which actually says something like this:

"between all the supermen of the multiverse (PC MULTIVERSE), two shine the most. The one you know better (earth 1 Superman) and earth 2 Superman. Eventually only ONE will survive"

This means that "our" Superman" or Modern Superman is the same Superman that lived in earth 1 meaning PC Superman.
