Nothing personal or anything, it's just that most threads like these make certain women or men feel bad about themselves.
Really?
I never thought about that. Seriously.
I subconsciously assumed that people were secure with themselves which is the first step everyone usually takes right before they inadvertently offend someone.

Some of the topics being covered in a research paper we have to do for our college writing course, dealt with beauty, and I did some interviews with plastic surgery patients and a lot of them have expressed that more people I was even aware of, aren't happy with what they look like, yet the media forces a standard upon us that tells people as young as children to look a certain way and so on.

I'm not sure how that relates to my epiphany, but I'll roll with it.
I'm not happy with what I look like, but I'm not sad about it either.
For instance, I'm trying to bring up the size of my calves. I think my forearms could use a little work too. That, and lose 15 lbs of nothing but body fat. Once I do that, I'll still not be completely satisfied...but I will certainly be very happy with what I look like.

It doesn't, my research paper reminded me of our classroom's findings on the views of beauty.

You should be.

Change to me isn't needed. Unless it's harmful to my health, then it's a must. D-mon, be happy with yourself, or I'll kill ya, haha!

How can I be a nude model for art class without a six pack?
You don't need a six pack to be a nude model. The human form isn't and shouldn't be boxed in to a narrow category of people that only have the perfect body as portrayed by today's media. Especially in a setting such as an art class, which is supposed to promote the recognition of beauty in people of all shapes and sizes.

Imagine doing them with their helmet on. 🙂
That would be a little weird. 😂
