She smiled faintly and shook her head. "Just being a foolish girl is all. It happens to the best." She glanced down at him and pulled the water skin out of her pack. "Here... Take a drink.. I put some herbs in it.. It might not taste the best but it will help the pain."

Xania shrugged. "She feels threatened. It is either she fears that I am attracted to you or vice versa. I believe the latter is more of probability than the first though in her mind."

She sighed. "Do not get me wrong. You are a fine warrior, but I do not know you that well. You two have a past and are more suitable to mate."

kiryu looked up her hand

"Would you mind lossening the blanket so i can take it off, i'd prefer to hold the drink myself"

Tsecti's eyes narrowed as he stared at Xiana

"Saurian human relationships are looked down apon by both races, you should know that. I don't really care about the fact that its taboo, bu how would a human make a more suitable mate for me then a lovley and strong female saurian"

"Fine but keep your hands to yourself." She pulled the horse to a stop and jumped down, carefully helping him to the ground and stuffing the blanket back into her pack.

Kiryu streacthed his arms and cracked his neck. He then looked at maiden for a few seconds before stepping closer and hugging her tightly.

"thank you so much, for helping me" he said happily

Xania chuckled. "I never meant it like that. I am just saying you two know each other better." A small blush crpt through her cheeks. a lovley and strong female saurian. "I am just tying to figure this out."

Maiden sighed and patted his back. "No problem... You would have done the same for me I'm sure." She brushed him off and pulled herself up onto her horse's back. "You coming?" She patted the space behind her and waited quietly for him to swing up.

Kiryu climbed up on the horse and sat behind her

"Where are we going, and where are the others?" he wrapped his arms around her midsection and rested his head on her back

"Don't mind me, my hands won't roam i'm just still weak and exhuasted"

Tsecti nodded as they continued following the north star

"Yea i see what you're saying. But i can understand maidens concern we are very similar"

She sighed and gave her horse a gentle kick. "I dont mind. If you do anything then I'll just push you off and leave you to the wolves... They're behind us. I chose to ride on and get a camp set up so we can get you better... Plus I kinda needed to get away from that group."

Xania shook her head. "With similar backgrounds, we were bound to be similar. That is no reason for her to jump to the conclusion I would come in and woo the male she has been trying to woo. I should know. I have had it happen several times."

Kiryu raised his head up and and looked at her

"Why do you need to get away?"

Tsecti stopped and raised an eyeridge

"What do you mean it has happened several times?"

Xania sighed. "IT is a long story, but it has happened to me several times."

She sighed heavily and glanced back at him. "You're not going to let it drop until you have the whole story are you?" She shook her head and looked down at the ground. "Just like Tsecti." She played with the horse's main absently as she spoke. "I dont know... He's mad at me.. He thinks I hate him."

tsecti shrugged

"It's also a long walk, tell me about some of it"

Kiryu pulled back breifly lettting her go

"Why does he think that?"

"I am barren, Tsecti. THe healers say that there is very slim chance I will ever have a hatchling. When a male suitor hears this, they run. There must be a male heir." There was sadness in Xania's voice. However, she did not cry. There were no tears. "I do not want your pity, but that is why I have given up. Thre a plenty of beautiful, strong females in my clan who are extremely fertile. I'm not."

She jumped at his sudden movement. She didnt like being touched or so close to someone, now he's jumping around like he's trying to spook a rabbit or something. "I dont know.. I think its because I'm trying to give him a little space.. He left me a year ago, and now I suddenly show up out of nowhere." She shrugged and threw a piece of hay from the horse's main down on the ground. She just happened to leave the part including Xania out.

Kiryu sighed and layed his head against her back again

"Why are you givimg him space all of a sudden?"

Tsecti walked silently for a few moments before softly speaking to her

"Well I'm sterile anyway, a side effect to my power. But on the upside i have gained immortality(from age not death). So i don't care"

(like a bount from bleach)

"Yo Tsecti how long is this really going to take it looks like we have'nt made a dent in are travel"

She sighed and glanced back at him. "Fine.. You wanna know, then fine. I'll tell you... Did he ever tell you about me before?"
