Torek nodded in agreement and spoke up"I guess we'll start with the warlord. We have reports that say that a large army of the lesser races has been formed and is growing by the day. While normally this wouldnt be an issue we have reason to bealive that as they grow stronger they shall attack us. And an early strike would only lead to distrust among lesser races and future guerilla attacks. Hence why we seek your consultance...Both of yours" he looked to skyfather
Skyfather smirked
"You know damn wel, that I dont get involved with small time stuff like wars aginst terrestial threats. But I do recommond infiltration and assassination of their leaders, but failure of that could lead to war" He shrugged and looked over at the seer
Sovanna let out a laugh, 'You can not attack their leaders, because if this warlord is in charge, he will just appoint another leader. And so on.. But we do need to tread carefully.' She let on a little yawn, 'Now what is with this creature and how does it concern me.?'
Antonio said thank you when Kiryu gave him what he wanted. He was pleased that the man was nice to him. He had to remember that. As he walked past Maiden, he gave her a nod and slightly smiled at the ones called Tsecti and Xania. He went to his tent and had a panic attack.
"This is just to much," he whispered to himself. "This is way to many people in one area for me and I just can't do it." He then reflected back to what Mr. Whitter had told him while he was in the hospital.
Flash...
"You can't always be by yourself, Mr. Lombardi. I was informed on what you did during the attack and how you volunteered you help. You took out 6 bansmen with one attack," he smiled.
"Yeah and I was completely drained afterwards too," Antonio replied dryly.
"You also saved Master Kiryu."
"Who? Look, thanks for taking care of me and helping me get back in tip top shape and everything, but I'm not looking for anyone's approval. I did what I did because this is where I live and I didn't want it to be destroyed. I figured that because I can do what a lot of people can't, why not help out just the one time. And look what happened. I ended up in the hospital for reasons I don't even care about."
Mr. Whitter looked Antonio in his eyes and said, "You have a gift and you care more than you show. I know life has been rough on you and you try to keep people away because you don't want to get hurt anymore, correct? Well that's to bad because hurt is powerful emotion and as humans, we all have to experience it at some point in time.
"Now there's been a bag prepared for you and it waiting down stairs for you. Get dresses and meet me in the lobby."
"What? Why," Antonio questioned.
"You were chosen to be on a special team. They have already left and I'm supposed to take you to them. That's all I know. Now chop chop. We don't have all day."
As Antonio made it to the lobby in his new clothes, Mr. Whitter smiled. "You looked like a man with purpose now. Let's be on our way."
"Wait," Antonio said. "I don't want to be on some team I know nothing about. And don't I get a say in the matter?"
"Of course," Mr. Whitter said. "I just assumed that you would want to go since you did put on the clothes and came to lobby like I asked. That said to me that you wanted to go. But you don't?"
"I don't know. I mean, I know nothing about any team or why they were formed or what their supposed to do or why I was selected to be on it or who put this whole thing together. I mean, my room was paid for; someone hired you to take care of me; new clothes and then I suddenly thrust into something I know or care nothing about? I mean come on. This doesn't sound fishy to you in the least, Mr Whitter?"
Mr. Whitter looked at the man. "Mr. Lombardi, I learned a long time ago that some things were just meant to happen. You can't change what has already passed so you may as well go with what you've got and take it from there. I don't need to know who I work for or what they do because that had nothing to do with me. I was hired to help you. And that's what I'm going to do. You don't have to but shall we go?"
Antonio summed up the man. "You know, you have a lot of wisdom."
"I know. Wisdom comes with age, sir. And as you can clearly tell, I'm old. Now are you coming?"
He hesitated but said, "Yeah. It's not like I have anything else to do with my life."
And now, here Antonio was. Having a panic attack after just arriving. He was so ashamed of himself. He had no intention of letting Mr. Whitter down. He regained his composure and made a vow to himself, "You will not let Mr. Whitter down because he believes in you. You will not let these people down because you are apart of this team now. And most importantly, you will not let yourself down because you have a purpose now."
He walked out of his tent with a new and positive outlook and was now ready for whatever was to come.

Tsecti looked over at Xania and tilted his head as he eyed the amulet. He reached his tail over and tapped her shoulder with his tail."Whats that?"
Xania's tail whipped out and slapped Tsecti's playfully. "A necklace I made for a friend. I have to make sure he gets it."

"Well as you may already know their is a creature that has been going around absorbing the cosmic energy out of the land. It has always been doing the same to certian people with cosmic blood. They Figure that once it gets strong enough it will go after us, since me and you appareantly generate the most. I also sent a team of people to go after it, but they want us to attampt to do somthing about it. Now they are mad at me beacuse I have things that i must take care that i find more important, but you still can" he shrugged

tsecti thought about it for a moment, and smiled
"A necklace seems more like a gift for, a potential mate then a friend"
She rolled her eyes and motioned for him to listen. Three howls echoed through the darkness of the forest, all seeming to be coming from around the camp. "I have my own eyes in this forest. The trees arent the only ones who can talk to me." She shrugged and started off towards where the first howl had come from.
