The original BEWD had power that rivaled that of the Egyptian Gods and Exodia. It did fairly well on its own against Zorc, who other than Horakhti is supposed to the most powerful creature in the series. According to the characters who watched the fight it did just as well against Zorc as the Egyptian Gods, even though it ultimately lost.

I guess i'd give it to the dragon. Its still powerful. Just Team 7 pretimeskip isnt able ot have enough abilities to handle it.
