Kidrock is right.

This IS Obama's fault.

Or how about making cars that'll pull you to the side of the road if it's oscillating, so drinking and driving won't be a problem.

Frankly, in today's world, I'm surprised these aren't commonplace or even law already.

Apart from Britian, Russia and Poland.

Other nations tend to enjoy their alcohol in a different way, ie they can walk home, don´t end up in jail, don´t vomit everywhere, don´t attack people for "looking at them in a funny way", stealing building site lights and signs and taking them home with them etc....

the problem is that most people who go out and get drunk at the weekend still manage to walk home, not vomit, not pick fights, not end up in jail and not steal building site lights, road cones and signs etc yet are still demonized by the press as being anti-social louts...when infact it's a tiny minority that end up doing those things

particularly in relation to fights in nightclubs. perhaps nightclubs shouldn't be allowed to pack people in way beyond what is considered busy because what causes most fights is usually queuing at the bar for 30 minutes to get a drink

then again...maybe, if the government is trying to curb drinking then they encourage over filling nightclubs because it takes longer for someone to get served and thus, in theory, would drink less

unless, of course, they're ordering several drinks at a time, which is usually the case

BTW, say something Scotish. Well besides scotch tape.

If some people were to get a good kicking and robbed when obliterated then they´d think twice about doing it again.

Maybe the government should start a special task team do carry out such activities🙂

maybe even forced reproductive activities?

wouldn't it be cheaper to drink out of the bottle then to go to a bar for happy hour?

yes but its not about the liquor. if you talk to someone who celebrates happy hour its about going out to your favorite pub with your best mate and in american english "kicking it"

yea i get that... i was thinking more from the perspective of an alcoholic.. since it seems that who this is supposedly aiming to help/deter from drinking

I don´t think banning happy hour will change anything, people will just buy another crate of cheap beer or bottle of vodka from the supermarket before they hit the pubs & clubs.

Drunken loutish behavior will continue, which is really what the government want, the more people who are drunk the less who can scrutinies their corrupt activities and useless policies.
