Iron Man vs Mr Sinister

But when has Sinister ever shown TK powerful enough to rip apart Iron Man’s armour? Without even considering that Iron Man has various defences, is much faster, and is fighting back.

Without considering TP:
-Sinister is powerful, but Iron Man is more powerful
-Sinister is versatile, but Iron Man is more versatile

Sinister’s trump card here is that he is a pain in the ass to put down, which... meh.

He's not faster than teleportation though.

Or powerful enough to break through Sinister's shielding, which is why he's low herald now.

Considering Boundless took it apart pretty easily, she's just a human level in strength right?

Besides, there's the issue of just....snapping his neck inside the armour.

Iron Man is like Bishop. He can focus his attention on an opening with his re-pulsar and make the shot in fast time so that even against someone like Gladiator in 4D Iron Man can apply the Avengers Assemble.

-Confused noises-

Iron Man's repulsars make opening. Plus his computing makes openings. Which gives Iron Man a 4 d range.

"But you can't process and respond to information at the speed of light, can you? Of course not. It doesn't matter how good your hardware is, your brain just doesn't work that fast"

a) feel free to explain how a feat explicitly requiring lightspeed will be performed by Sinister;

b) Boundless tells us that Iron Man's hardware is good, but his reflexes are sub C, and thus the strength of his hardware doesn't matter. This distinguishes the scan from the fight at hand: Iron Man's reflexes are better than Sinister's, and thus the strength of his hardware does matter. Unless Sinister has better TK offense feats than I've seen from him, I don't think he's picking apart Tony's armor like it's LEGO.

...

I won't continue this debate much further because I don't want to chase down scans and I don't have an Iron Man folder ready to go. That said, I think Sinister is benefiting from the forum's recency bias, and Tony is suffering, because we haven't had a serious IM fan on the forums in a while.

IM is also arguably a low herald. More importantly though, if we strip away Sinister's biggest offensive weapon (TP), his remaining attacks are limited to things that are all sub-herald, and all inferior to Tony's armor. If Sinister wins, it's through attrition.

I'm not sure how reflex speed helps with the structural integrity of his armour....

Why would Sinister need to remove the whole armor, when he can just remove, I dunno, the faceplate [assuming he needs to do so], and crush his skull?

Iron Man removed all boobie traps from his armor.
He should be capable of a bull run like Sinister.
When the two collide you would have a superconductor reaction and a partical would emit.
The one who is fast enough to grab the particle would be able to kill the other.

Why would he even need to remove the faceplate? That's the beauty of TK.

uhuh

Still if Iron Man focus on controling a 360 radius Mr. Sinister would have to use t.k. faster than technology has developed so to put it bluntly...Iron Man really can do 1 trillion things per second/per 32 feet.

They did fight in -Hunt for Wolverine Adamantium Agenda Issue 3 - but it was interrupted by female Wolverine. Then, after that Sinister had a beastly showing in issue 4 against a team of Ironmen along with a couple of other Avengers while injured but they overwhelmed him in the end. Tony had on some Psi-Blockers during their fight but you can tell none of them couldve beat him solo imo.

Everyone ignored that post (guess since it was carver's), but truth is that weakened Sinister did have a good showing there.

At least it didn't look as if Tony could solo.
