While it might have,I think he opted for the better route since the Dani/Hela thing is going to have a bigger payoff in New Mutants.

The issue I have is that theres too many people, there was only 1 or 2 ok fights, the rest are way too quick.

That's one of the biggest problems with Fractions Uncanny X-Men. I think he said he's choosing a team after this crossover.

Pointer is nowhere near as powerful as he was when he took on Alpha Flight and then the New Avengers. Most of his power got dispersed- remember when Tony is talking to him, and he mentions that he retained only a small bit of "The Collective?"

I know. Shit Wolverine was walking right through his attacks completely unharmed. He didn't even need his healing factor.

Michael drains mutant powers/energy even unconsciously. Shit, he should have been the biggest gun on that battle field, with his power set. Although Dark Beast and Obsborn might have limited his powers. Wasn't the entire point of the Omega machine to give pointer a limited supply of mutant energy so that he isn't a danger to everyone else? Last time they feed him energy was from Beast, so he might have been extremely weak at that point.

It kind of pissed me off Wolverine called out Omega for killing Alpha Flight, basically said he was going to kill him... and then Omega just flew away at the end like nothing happened.

Pointer still has access to as noted to 1000 different mutant powers and can still steal others around him. He's still vastly powerful, and truthfully I wish Wolverine cut off his head and that would be the end of him.

Yeah I was very glad Wolverine called him out, as that was the first time Wolverine really even mentioned his friends and family died due to Pointer's hands.

He tracked Mystique across the globe for betraying the X-Men, but apparently killing a bunch of his friends doesn't elicit much of a response. 😠

Yeah I thought that was ridiculous, seeing as Wolverine thinks of Mac and Heather as his "parents" and some of his best friends.

I just wish Wolverine went for the head right away rather then his back.

Maybe Pointer is secretly being depowered by Osborn, or holding back... because even the Pointer in the 12 issue mini would have raped Wolverine's soul off.

He also isn't the type of guy who tells someone he is going to kill them, and doesn't mean it. I have little faith in Fraction (or anyone else) picking up that plot point though.

The real Alpha Flight needs to get back from space already. 🙁

Honestly, Omega Weapon should be above and beyond Wolverine easily and based on his power set he should have been the strongest player on that field without a doubt. I lol'd at how he couldn't even harm Wolverine. Shit, a punch from a Street Level opponent like Daredevil has had more effect.
