Pre-Crisis Black Adam Vs JLA (Morrison's luneup)

Do the JLA have a prayer against someone who is totally invulnerable to physical and energy attacks? PC Black Adam has some crazy feats. Like Captain Marvel wailing on him for hours and not feeling a thing. And Captain Marvel is in Superman's class of strength.

Another feat I hear is SHAZAM needed to BFR Black Adam to the farthest reaches of the universe to punish him. BA came back faster than the speed of light.

Both Cap and Adam had true invulnerability.

Is the JLA also pre-crisis?

No, post crisis, Morrison's lineup. I think they had like 12 members. Black Adam was a villain back then, too.
