PS3 Help.

My dad was trying to connect mny ps3 online but everytime the internet connection would fail. It would be something about a DNS error, then show a number on the bottom. Does anyone know why? Please help.

Anyway did you try resetting the modem? unplug it and plug the power cord back in.

No. But doesn't it have to do with what you put in the IP adresses?

well for my 360 I only have to reset/turn off the modem. I have it on auto for the IP address.

Is your wireless protected? By that 10 key points password thing?

Then again... Sony's servers went down recently, so you aint alone. They are up now though...
