IM can be effected by Reds abilities. The reason he wasnt in that instance was because he(Tony) wasnt even in the suit. He was controlling it via remote.

Phermones(deathspores)(airbourne) and Death Factor(life drain) are 2 different abilities. Red penetrated IM's armor and applied the Death Factor. None worked cause Tony wasnt in the suit.

Red penetrated deep enough to kill IM. He went for the killing blow. Hell, he even stated that he was going to kill him. If you notice the "?!" from Red is because he was surprised IM wasnt dead. The penetration was deep enough.

Theoretically the stronger Apoc is, the stronger Omega Red would become if he syphoned some of his life force...

Beating someone and owning them are 2 different things imo. In this instance, did Tony beat Red? Yes and no. Had Tony actually been in the suit fighting Red in person, he would have been defeated panels earlier than when the armor puncture happened via Death Factor.

Apocalypse easily. Still, Red is the better villain and doesn't job like Apocalypse does.

This may be one of the only fights where Apoc actually wins.
