KI bio: A secret agent sent to investigate the mysterious disappearances that surround the UltraTech contest. Her true identity and abilities are shrouded in secrecy.

KI 2 bio: The lethal secret agent remains as enigmatic as always. Had she been caught and detained in her infiltration of Ultratech, the authorities would eventually have exposed her as a valued asset of an international spy organisation: however, Orchid's role in the tournament and ultimate victory over the Warlord Eyedol yielded some very unexpected results. It freed massive energies, leaving not only her but most of Ultratech trapped two millennia in the past with rather more urgent concerns on their hands.

Orchid as she appears in the comics. She has a pretty even fight with Thunder at first, but after he misses a killing blow, Orchid wipes the floor with him. She spares him though, and they later become allies in the tournament.

Me too. 😄 At first I just assumed it was Jago who won the tournament, but Orchid was actually a cooler choice now that I think about it.

I always found that move creepy, even to this day.. The finisher where she turned her opponent into a frog and then stomped on them was pretty cool though (which ironically, she only stomped them on the SNES version), but I was hoping they'd have a finisher that involved her turning into that golden tiger thing. Speaking of which, I loved that special move, even if it wasn't that effective.

True, but there was an additional two females in Killer Instinct 2.

I think so, though I'm not entirely sure. It's kinda harder to find the KI2 finishers on youtube.
