Superman vs Thanos

Everything used in the thread is viable. All Thanos' attacks have been accounted for. Superman being faster, stronger, etc, has been shown or discussed.

The ball is in Superman's court clearly, and you and the Thanos supporters just keep leaning on back on times Thanos got smacked up by skyfathers -- while scans have been shown of Superman overcoming the powers of/or defeating skyfathers just the same, an area where Thanos falls short.

i don't want to continue this but i want to say some things about the superman/thanos issue

1) yeah thanos' feats aren't the same as superman's but then again, dc writes their comics differently. superman has to defend metropolis/the planet from bizarre alien threats = more feats than every other comic character on the planet. thanos is just a special event type of villain, a once in a while treat for comic readers. (ds should take notes)

2)most posters look at the people thanos crushed casually in the past and the people that have teed off on him without anything to show for it, even against some of his clones. most posters believe that those characters would respectfully win/lose against superman themselves, and thanos crushed them.

to date, thor beat a clone that earlier in the story took a barrage of attacks that would have imo put superman out, and only won the second go around with odin enhanced weaponry. (some of which did not survive the encounter) that is the only real thanos defeat on panel that was concrete, but it was only a wayward clone.

and 3) (this is more about this thread) this thread has thanos decimating earth and apparently waiting for superman to come back, that sounds very un-thanos like to me... more darkseid in modus operandi. (he likes to push kal's buttons). anyway, thanos would without a doubt have a fix all for any returning heroes who's planet he just destroyed, like some sort of tech or something that would take care of it for him....maybe an armada of space mercenaries (which he indeed does have as "standard tech"😉

a straight fight upon meeting superman... thanos would never let that happen.. in fact, thanos doesn't even blow up planets for nothing anyway. 😕

Thanos isn't a hero nor has as many appearances. However, what he does has is consistently being more durable, versatile and intelligent then superman. What we have is him more consistently beating top tiers all of the time then superman does. So, when going by percentages Thanos has the more consistent showings against top tiers and certainly the more consistent durability showings.

I cant believe this is still going on; thanos 10/10. If superman could beat thanos then that mean that superman is>>>surfer, thor, and almost any other high end herald when thats a damn lie.

I cant believe that this has gone on this far. Surfer, thor, and superman shouldnt be put in any kind of battle situation against thanos. If superman could beat thanos then surfer shouldnt have a problem since surfer is>>superman in almost every category excluding strength.

I know people hate when I post anything concerning superman but this should be considered a bait thread or spite and should be closed.
