If you look at how many chapters he has released, Miura has not released very man compared to Naruto or One Piece. His has been going on longer than either of those. He's just slow at putting out chapters. At this point, he has the liberty to do so. He does not have to put them out any faster because he's already made his money and it still continues to pour in, his work that does exist is still so awesome that it can stand in its own right, and he would rather play than draw complex images and write out a story that holds up with his past superb writing.

I still want to join forces with him and help write and draw his stuff for him. I want the story to finish even if I have to help. That's how much I want it to end.

He is extremely talented, and does not skimp on the quality, no shortcuts....really good by a general artist standpoint, let alone a manga!

Ditto on all points. However, we know from his very own comments at the end of his chapters that he just likes his video games. He DOES make great works, no doubt. Some of his art is just plain awesome. So we know his quality is there...even in his stories.

I will kick the door open to his posh apartment, grab him by his PJ shirt, and scream, "you're finishing this sh*t, NOW! Put the game on pause and bust out your drawing tools!"

Of course, I'm just kidding. I would never kick his door open and assault someone like that. But that's what I think Miura needs, sometimes, to get him motivated to finish.

Quality can take a while.

I'm not completely up to date on Berserk, recently finished volume 34, but it is probably the best manga I've ever read, or one of them (Up there with Vinland Saga for example, which is actually similar to Berserk in art and tone).

Ahhh. I can't read it because I'm at work. They have some "bad" manga on that site so I can't visit it while at work.

On one hand, I don't want Miura to rush, because quality might drop, on the other hand, I get the horrible feeling he is going to die before completing the story, lol.

I have the same fear. But the next chapter should be out here in 10-15 days.

Well, he could have written both chapters fairly close together which is why it is being released so close together.

Also, he had BETTER not kill of Guts. That would be like killing off Naruto in chapter 300 or something. Guts has to stay alive and fully recover. Where is his manly beastly muscles that he used to have? You know...that build that made me want to work out and eat right just to be big and strong like Guts? RAAAGE!

He was weaker in this chapter because the Sea God's heartbeat alone was pounding and pummeling him physically before.

He was still recovering from his first wearing of the armor. It really tore him up the first time he put it on.

Wow. It probably has been that long.

But, ja...in the story...not much time has past since Guts wore the Berserk armor for the first time. He has been recovering from his injuries since then. He lost a lot of muscle mass when he got sick, too.

Guts is ALLLLIVVEES! Now may he finally rest up and heal and get back to full strength for once.

And, is the son an Angel? Are we finally going to see the "good" guys side of the story? We have seen Godhand...and they are pretty much evil pricks: demon-gods.

So...I always thought that there should be a righteous side to the dark to balance it out. Yin and Yang, you know? Surely there is a godly side of things and Guts gets to become one of them to have the final show-down with Griffith? Right?

I kind of hope he doesn't. I like that he is just a man fighting supernatural beings, given he does have the berserk armor, but that doesn't exactly make him invincible....
