Yeah its not but to one shot someone u have to outright defeat them in one hit with no other hits needed. Surfer was still fully conscious after the first hit and though he was in a very vulnerable postion was technically not defeated yet.

Many of this team would be put away within the first 5 minutes (Supergirl is too green), leaving Superman and Orion to face off against Thanos. Without a decent solar amp I don't see Superman being able to resist Thanos' mystic/psychic combo for very long.
As far as Orion goes, it's hard for me to imagine that he can defeat Thanos when he was able to take a full blast in the face from the Silver Surfer, and none of these guys can output power on Odins level, not to mention Galactus'.
Thanos should be able to resist anything that either of these guys can throw at him... I see Orion falling second to last leaving Superman on his own... I believe that it could go either way with Superman and Thanos, simply because of Superman's tremendous speed and since CIS is off.... hmmmm, I'm really tempted to go with Thanos because of his psi talents though.

How did you just agree with what I said, and then say that Surfer was fully conscious?
If Thanos would have continued the fight Surfer would have still been withering in pain, and all that would be needed is any sort of blow. Unneeded shots.

Wrong choice of words. I meant he was still aware of his environment even though he was in pain
No shots needed would mean thanos woudnt have to hit him again cuz the fight wud be over. In that case however surfer wasnt down and out just yet. Thanos would still have to finish him off even if he would have to use a very weak attack.

The 'fight' was basically over. Thanos would have been ready to fight, Surfer wouldn't have been, or have been able to defend himself. Any attack would have been unnecessary, especially when you implied that a very weak attack could have finished Surfer there.
Either way, it was just an eyeblast, and before Thanos had gotten his upgraded physical body.

Surfer was vulnerable yes but that doesnt mean the fight was over just yet. And an attack certainly would hve been necessary given how fast surfer can recover.

thor hit him with a a rabbit punch holding mjolnir and was pissed since he just got resurrected after thanos killed him, that punch was not pulled at all and thanos didn't even feel it.
