~Alex helped Cy get to some water. She took the tie from her neck, soaked up some water with it, and used it to wipe the blood from his face.~ Hold still.... ~She got a bit off, then rung the tie out, put more water on it and cleaned up the rest of the blood. She set her tie down on the ground and smiled at him.~ There. All better.
=Jason made his way back to the Stables and looked at the parts to his horse.=
Get up you sack of bones....
=The pile of bones jiggles and reformed together. Technically there was nothing holding the bones together. So what stopped two parts of the same bone from staying together? Jason jumped up on the horse and waited for the others to get up and ride.=
Cy was not used to being treated with such kindness as Alex was showing him and didn't know how to respond to it. Still embarrassed to be, in his mind, shown as weak, he shrugged her off and said "Im Fine, just leave me be" and walked over to Bucephalus who knelt down, somehow knowing Cy was hurt, to make it easy for him to mount.
Pia, hearing all the ruccus just sighed and turned away from Akir, "I wont help you if you wont listen Akir... you're NOT useless..." She pushed off the ground, her wings taking several powerful strokes so that she could mount her pegasus. She sat barebacked and looked down at him, "It's your choice."
As they rode Cy thought he might try and give Akir some advice. For what it was worth.
"You know you are going to have to toughin up. If you dont, the things you fear the most will end up Destroying you. You are special or you would not be here. Listen to Hex. She will help you grow confident" Cy said in hopes that Akir would understand. Cy then , begrudgingly, pulled out a small book from his pocket. "This is the Hagekure, my Bible" Cy said handing it to Akir."It is a book written by Yamamoto Tsunetomo a Samurai in the Sengoku-Jidai era late 17th Century" Cy continued "It is a code on how one should face Life and Death with Honor. Its full of anecdotes and stories showing how ones actions affected their life's. I think it might do you some good to read it. I know you cant be happy with yourself feeling so Helpless and cowardly. I believe you will get something out of this. You are not afraid of reading are you" Cy said with a smirk.
~Alex frowned lightly and looked at her favorite tie, now covered in blood. She sighs a bit and drops it to the ground before walking over to Tsume and jumping on.~ Ready when ever you are Hex. ~She spoke softly to Tsume telling him to go and he ran off and when she passed Cy she just turned her head away from him~
Aiden smiled and reached out, grabbing the tie and pulling it into the stall she had been cleaning. She had heard everyone coming, so she had ducked down and hid in the pile of straw. Well... She might as well do Alex a favor.
Hex sighed and crossed her arms, looking out into the swamp like forest. There was a little spot away from the trail that was well under water.. Here on the banks was where she would wait for everyone else to catch up. "Everyone gather... This is very important."
Hex sighed and closed her eyes. She couldnt stay mad at Raken forever. "Yeah... So are you at times." She smiled sweetly and looked over her shoulder. "I'm going to call Apep. Listen up... If any of you ever need help, or need to talk to someone who really knows about the Island, then you can come to Apep. Everyone calls him in their own way... He will not hurt you." She bit her finger, drawing blood, and held her hand out over the water. Two drops fell into the water. There was silence for a moment, then slowly the water began to ripple. Apep stepped out of the trees, his head bowed with his mossy hair hanging in his face. His lips were stitched shut, and he wheezed as if he had a chest cold. Slowly he stepped out of the water, standing a good 20 hands high. He bowed his head and nudged Hex, his voice sounding just as bad as his breathing. "Who are they?" She smiled weakly, obviously not too comfortable with the decaying creature beside her. "These are our students."
