Let's kill them all.

There are twenty total, sitting opposite of each other in the canvas-covered back of the truck, reminiscent of the truck from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Is Rianna going to risk herself fighting them in her state?

She is rather in bad shape right now...but if she can do something like use Saber Throw to slice through the canvas and take out a couple of them, she'll do that.

Xavier hops in the back and begins to twirl. Defend for defense.

Rather not worrying about Xavier, Dak swivels the liberated mounted gun around and fires indiscriminately through the canvas at the officers.

And Dak's action has fully justified Rianna not jumping in to fight, as she doesn't trust him with a gun 😛

Ok then if Dak is going to do that then Xavier will hang back for a bit.

That takes care of the officers. Not knowing where to shoot and having no place to go but out the back of the truck, only a few toss themselves clear while the rest are seared by lasers burning through the canvas- which looks rather neat, leaving little burnt holes and causing lots of screaming from unseen victims- leaving the truck as yours. Trax gets it moving and nobody contests the lizard with the turret... except Mr. Big, who has gotten out of the saloon and is firing off his concussion rifle at the escaping speeder.

Rianna, meanwhile, is starting to feel faint as the burning sensation becomes unbearable.

No! Dak will not shoot Mr. Big! He still holds some hope that Mr. Big, being a man of stout will and impeccable good taste in fine beverages, can be made to see the error of his current beliefs.

Even so, he is still going to shoot at you, and there is nowhere to dive away from that shot except for off of the moving vehicle and into the crowd of angry people that are taking up arms against you.

Yeah, I'm thinking Rianna doesn't care about who Dak shoots or doesn't, just so long as they get away from there without getting blown up or anything.

"Just so you know, whatever poison they use on their knives...really not fun..." Rianna comments as they pile into the speeder.

Dak will try to shoot Mr. Big's gun out of his hands.

You would need Eagle Eye for something like that. You would be better off with Combat Push, if you really want to spare him.

A good roll sees to it that Dak remains oddly merciful... and as the landspeeder starts racing away, Rianna slips into unconsciousness and one of the Two Towers, the one that is burning, suddenly pitches sideways and smashes into the building next to it. The bridges buckle and snap, spilling anyone on them downwards. This doesn't include the Shepherds, though; the leader got them out of there.

Dak looks down at Trax. "Where are we going?"

"Back to the ship," Trax says. "Unless you want to try taking on the whole town. The man from the bar told us where most of the Shepherds went after dealing with the pirates."

"Ah, good plan. So we're going to Mag... Magma... Magnus Delta."
