Dak pins her saber to the floor with one of his own and uses the Force to push her back, trying to get it out of her grip. "I spent my life with more experienced Jedi always at the ready to kill me. I think that's a bit more intense than being cared for by your kind. Coddled, made weak. And it certainly seems to be difficult for you... all these years, and you haven't yet managed to kill me, Galder, or Rand."
"Hardly my fault you came from such an uncivilized world, is it? And maybe one of those meals should have been..." Rianna ducks down under his blade, bringing up her orange saber to parry the stab, while slashing at his chest with her purple saber. "And no, instead I grew up ridiculed by all around me and betrayed by the only person I was ever able to trust."
Xavier barely hears as Desal speaks.
He is ours... OURS!!!!
"Yes but now is not the time is it for such pettiness. Our glory will be had, but now the mission comes first."
Xavier reaches into his pocket to see if his beacon is still functioning on the ship.
As he checks he speaks to Desal.
"Hold on, keep silent, and don't bother them, and live you shall."
Time to up the ante. Dak and Rianna are becoming increasingly angry, what with this contest of insults and aggressive swordplay. If this keeps up, Rianna's instability will lead to this becoming a duel... and there is a prize. The prize is that the winner gets to participate in the finale, while the loser... well, you can't die, but you can be incapacitated. Rianna and Dak are at high damage already, even losing a duel marginally inflicts twenty damage that they likely cannot afford...
It will be Willpower checks to calm down and avert duelling.
Xavier, of course, is not at risk; even if he gets dragged in, he has sustained no damage in this bout and can recover if wounded. The beacon is holding strong, while Desal whimpers and cowers behind you.
As awesome as a duel would be, not participating in the finale would suck. So I think we'll hold off on that. For now. Rianna's anger is enough that she's not going to let this go.
Rianna hops over the slash aimed at her legs, before stepping back and shutting down her lightsabers. "She betrayed me more times and ways than you could imagine, and certainly more than I care to talk about," she replies quietly. "Leave that subject be."
Xavier can tell you that the starfighters that accompanied the transport have their hyperdrives locked to the coordinates of some space entity that the transport is, very likely, headed towards.
And tell me what is being done with Desal and it will be done. He is totally defenseless, and his death will appear to be the fault of the natives...
Xavier continues to check on the beacon.
"Yes let us be on our way."
Xavier turns his attention to Desal finally. "So you believe me now that they are married, they definitely fight like one don't they."
Xavier knows fully well that Desal's fate is sealed. Although before he dies it could be useful to see if he has anything to offer them.
Xavier will leave that one up to Rianna, and Dak as he goes to check on Trax and get the New Beginning prepped for take off.
"Goodbye Desal, may the Force be with you."
"That was a stupid cover story and if anyone believed I'd marry scum like that they're a fool..." Rianna says, glaring both at Xavier and Dak, before turning her glare to Desal.
"Any last bits of info you may have for us? I'd advise you speak quickly. In case you've not noticed, I'm not in a good mood," she states, lightsaber in her hand but not yet ignited.
"What do you mean?" Desal says as Xavier leaves. "Wait, come back! Don't leave me alone with them!"
The beacon is still transmitting... but it has stopped moving. The transport has reached its destination and you have the coordinates. Shortly after it stops transmitting.
You also need to collect Trax and perhaps get him some treatment at the medstation.
