Superman w/ Thanagarian Mace vs Thor

For this match, Superman's movement speed is capped at Thor's movement speed but his fighting speed and reaction speed are not capped.

Who wins?

Thor.

What is the mace supposed to do for Superman? Without the speed advantage to use it, Thor fires an anti-force blast in his face.

the Mace's Nth metal properties represent a potent approach against magic

Classic Thor pretty much has more experience than anyone fighting with hammer or mace like blunt weapons. Supes is out of his league fighting current Thor though. Unless Green Hulk and A-Bomb interfere and keep Supes alive but beaten.

Thor wins.

I hope this was just sarcasm.
Otherwise, you've shown everyone the level of your stupidity

If his reaction and combat speed are normal, then he still is far faster than Thor.

And the mace seems like not much of a tradeoff for speed.

hmmmm....ok...so, supes movement speed is capped at thor's but his fighting speed and reaction speed are not? if his movement speed is capped, then wouldn't this mean that his fighting speed is also capped as movement speed translates to fighting speed? since when you fight you move and how fast you move is more or less your fighting speed...unless of course you meant flight speed...

Can a sprinter throw faster punches than a trained boxer?

In any case, you forgot that you are in a comic book forum, where real life physics and logic don't always apply.

Superman.

The mace will work good on Thor, but I think it depends on who gets more lucky. They are pretty much even.

He still lacks experience with it. This matchup favors Thor.

Thor

Supes has a thousand years fighting in Asgard.

Thor has 2 thousand.

Supes has to hit Thor's hammer once and it shatters due to the anti-magic such and such.
