Power Stilts - New Extreme Sport or Not?

Would you buy a pair of these stilts at the price of $289.00 US? What do you think of them? I was watching Modern Marvels and they seemes so cool, I may have to purchase a pair. I'd imagine that Basketball and many other sports could be reinvented using these... any thoughts?

Yea 🙂, I'd imagine that playing basketball with them would be a blast, it would certainly be more fun than slamball.

These have been out for a long time, good to see they're being marketed to the public now.

If you didn't look like a complete jackass in them, I'd consider buying a pair.

Yeah but what do you think the first skate boarder looked like? It's just about doing it, and it catches on... remember that dumbass haircut that people used to wear the Gumbi? Bell bottom pants? Tight ass pants for men? 🙂 the list goes on and on, but these stilts are actual sports equipment.

As is the clown-clothes that "fashionable" golfers wear, yet you won't catch me in those either.
