lol I was at Wal*Mart and asked a number of employees if I could have the Star Wars display they had to show off the Clone Wars toys. (Sometimes at some stores they give them out after they use them if you are lucky)
Employee #1 told me they do often accept phone numbers to come pick up the displays when they are done with them, then he told me to talk to the guy in the toy department.
Employee #2 (toy department) told me they auction off the displays. Then he told me to talk to the girl at the desk.
Employee #3 (desk girl) told me it is illegal to give out the licensed displays and they have to destroy them.

Hmm, good idea! I really don't want to lie to anyone but it is a Star Wars display so I guess it would be worth saving it by any non-violent means. They sometimes have such great art it is a shame to waste them. And they look great on display in a collection.
