Thanos vs Wolverine

Why is it so hard to believe someone might, for once, think logan would win a battle when all the stipulations are in his favor... I realize that in almost ANY other kind of fight, thanos would just begone with Logan. I guess in the end it comes to opinion how much power Thanos has without using energy... some seem to think he has a lot, some seem to think he doesn't have much at all...

I believe the notion t hat without ANY form of Energy manipulation, Thanos would not be THAT strong, and without any kind of Energy power ups he could give himself, he wouldn't be that fast either... since he almost ALWAYS has energy powers, it's a bit moot to debate this fight.

What I've seen is incredibly laughable arguments in favor of Thanos trying to suggest he can take Logan in a purly h2h battle...when in reality Logan has handled characters easily Thanos peer in strength class before.

He doesn't have to take him in h2h, he has to hit him once. No one is saying he's more skilled than Wolverine if your amount of comprehension has reached you to this point.

No he hasn't. The highest character he's taken out off the top of my head is Hercules (far less durable, far weaker, and with no ability to heal).
Unless you can show someone else... nevermind, moving on. 😐

Because he doesn't have the power to slice him hard enough to take Thanos out. And Thanos has healed from cuts in short periods of time before.
Otherwise we would have seen Wolverine beat less durable Hulk by now.

As well as Wolverine getting tagged by just about every character he's ever fought...

I never said Thanos is some uber God, and you wouldn't have to be to beat Wolverine. 😐

You are applying no logic at all to this. And you still haven't brought up an in comic example.

He's one-shotted Iron Man, Starfox, Thing, Mar-Vell, hurt Thor with the PG, overpowered Hulk and Thing together, was compared to Hulk before he physically augmented himself, etc, all with no indication of energy being present.

I thought he wasn't allowed to have augmentation according to the thread. If he were just Hulk Strength it would still technically be a good battle... not a stomp.

Meaning that if Thanos was good, and never met Death, he would be as strong as Hulk right now.

His augmentations were permanent... meaning that he was supposed to be as strong as Hulk before he went through countless numbers of permanent upgrades to his body. As well as being upgraded by Death.

He's reacted to Ganymede, Surfer, Fallen One, Jack Of Hearts, laser gun, Mar-Vell, etc.

He also apparently KO'ed Starfox and Iron Man with double elbows when they were trying to subdue him from behind. A little reflex, a little strength feat there.

More than enough to tag Logan when they start off facing each other ( 😐 ), and one punch will put Wolverine out... so really... 😬
