Don't know much about YT's body and anatomy so I'm going to take your word for it. TBH I was imagining this fight without the instant death moves in the first place which would make it better to watch.

He is first and foremost an excellent H2H combatant having already won the Dark Tournament proving himself to be the strongest on earth (along with his partner/lover Genkai) among humans and demons alike.
Hell, he spent half the story arc helping the main character (Yusuke) to unlock his vast power potential (similar to how Gouki tried to get Ryu to master the dark hadou, as Ryu is the only opponent with a chance of defeating him).
The man casually demolished a building just to demonstrate the gap between his power and Yusuke, which required less than 50% of his total power.
