Which herald-level or lower hero could stop an asteroid of this size?

yea, real stretch of the use of the word 'planet'

There's no way to prove what size the planets were intended to be but I doubt they were supposed to be small rocks.

though stick him in front of it with no visor, he might do enough damage with enough time to deflect/stop it.
