I see Doom calling this unknown entity "master," as more of a respect type of thing [because it 'trained' Doom]. I really don't see Doom honestly pulling out some type of "I'm inferior to this guy" complex after all these decades - as that's just not in his character.
Like someone mentioned, if Doom does bow to this thing, it will more than likely be some kind of ploy to help him get ahead in the end. He and Thanos are very similar in that aspect.

Isn't the one writing the story the same guy who is writing Old Man Logan, the story where everybody guessed the ending long before the issue was out ?

Joking aside I think you're right. I think it's gonna be someone who was the original Doom and the Dr Doom we know is an apprentice figure ✅ This is Millar's way of saying "This guy's even more badass than this one!!!"
