I have no complaint about someone wanting to reasonably raise their post count up but whenever I come in there to check things out people have posted 10-13 times in a row. That's ridiculous and sad! I've told moderators but nothing has been done.

I'll sign it. I've made it no secret that I despise spam threads which is all that is, and I've said before how pointless that thread is. Half the time when I look in there, the posts don't even make any sense.

its not a spam thread to the people that use it, which a lot of people do awesome

pretty stupid to want it closed, i go in there because its the thread where most people talk in, why would you want to take that way?

There is a lot of discussion there (of course not alll the time 😐 ) that couldn't happen in any other thread. srug

I use it as a place to post crap that no one wants to see or know.

Otherwise I'd post it in other threads and people would be annoyed.

It's just a thread, it's not harming anybody ermm if you want to ban every thread that's just about upping posts counts and offers nothing then you might as well close the entire section, after all that's what practically 99.9% of the OTF contains.

I love the idea of people thinking they can dictate what sort of threads are acceptable and which aren't in the OTF though, that's pretty funny.

The thread doesn't bother me, people would just find a new place to post crap... I love the fact that it bothers people that I suggest we get rid of it.

It's a game to see who gets the 1,000,000th post... close it when that happens. It's 3/4 of the way there. There are other threads like it, 'the word game' for instance, that serve no real conversational purpose.
