Now, I can't count out a win for Windu entirely given his incredible demonstrations of speed, strength, skill, and power in Shatterpoint and the CWC. But Kit Fisto alone single-handedly overpowered General Grievous in a duel and subsequently fought off three of his MagnaGuards, and Agen Kolar was specifically counted alongside Mace as one of the greatest bladesbeings the Jedi Order had ever produced. At best, I see Mace scraping out of this by the skin of his teeth.

And allow me to clarify; Mace defeated Palpatine due to the superconducting loop created by his immersion in Vaapad, the combat style he created that operates on both a physical and metaphysical level. When facing opponents who are fueled by elements of the dark side, he can draw on their strength and speed until he has matched it. This is how he defeated Palpatine; he essentially mimicked the Sith Lord's superior speed, and prevailed through the use of his shatterpoint technique.
