Tadakatsu is not badass but Nobunaga is in like all 3 franchises I've seen him in. Sorry but I don't like Tadakatsu since he stole the Lu Bu role from Keiji Maeda who was one of my favorite characters and the best character in SW1. Its all good nowadays though seeing as the SW franchise doesn't really have Lu Bu character now seeing as Keiji, Tadakatsu, Toshiie and Musashi. Anyone that has played SW2: XL will know how muc of abeast and badass Toshiie has been made out to be.

If you're talking about Dante from DMC3 with all of his Ninja Turtle quips and catchphrases then you are right. I loved in in DMC2 but 3 turned him into an annoying little cocky teenager. That first scene where he sticks a whole slice of pizza in his mouth killed it for me.

I love Kessen 1, and 3. Never played two..Had no real want because it wasn't Japan. Kessen was what actually got me interested in actually learning Japanese history..even though I don't know a single thing about American History. lol Honda's catchphrase in Kessen one is why I think he is. 'Let my tonbogiri be your passage to Hell" then there is his whole legend that makes him just awesome in general. That's why Honda is one of my favorites.
Oda, Hanzo, and Yukimura were the people I usual play in SW. I want to play Warriors Orochi but haven't gotten around to it cause I can't find it for the ps2.

The Three Kingdom era is just as good a story as the feudal Japan era. I say that as an American who loves both Chinese and Japanese history more than American. Trust me if you like Nobunaga then you'll love Cao Cao. Once you meet Lu Bu then you'll see the greatest warrior to ever live and you'll forget about Tadakatsu. Warriors Orochi 2 is a cool game. A lot of extra characters in there from Japanese and Chinese legend. I enjoy playing as Goku aka Sun Wukong the monkey king.
