I get to explain how that works to a 2nd year perception class

Good then maybe you can explain why this woman rotates left ot some people, right to others and if you really concentrate doesn´t at all but kicks left and right.

lol, that one is easy

the image is ambiguous, though it sends nearly identical signals to a girl spinning to your visual system. Because your perception of reality is compiled and not an exact reflection, your lower level brain areas compile the image as though it was a single moving object.

you can force it to turn either right or left, I find it is easiest at the feet, as there appears to be a frame or 2 that seem less ambiguous than the rest of the body, especially the torso.

Good explanation, thanks.

Yep if you look at the feet you make it change direction easier, the odd thing is I can sometimes see her just kicking left to right and not rotating.

What do you mean by as there appears to be a frame or 2 that seem less ambiguous than the rest of the body". I opened it in a gif animator application and the frames are equal and symetrical in thier operation.

They're just going crazy from all that coffee intake. 😛

its a subjective thing, might not even exist, but the curve in the foot that is on the ground looks odd as it comes around the center. it could just be me

I blocked certain parts of the body and only looked at it a thrid at a time. All it does is oscillate back and forth. I did this a while back the first time we played around with it.

looking at the shadow is the easiest way to get it to switch, for me at least

I can't make it switch, at all. I've never been able to make her spin the other way (left for me) 😬

I'm more interested in knowing why they gave the silhouette nipples.

Why wouldn't they?

The nipples are quite well done actually, pointy. Maybe a bit of erotic in there purposely.

I wonder what it would look like if someone didn´t sleep for 4 days then drunk a liter of Coffee in one go.

Any volunteers?
