Yeah anyone with a gem thats gives you all of the physical power ever known in the entire universe is overrated.

That's why it took Thor like 2 punches to knock out Drax when he had it, because drax had all the physical power ever known in the universe.

1. Shows considerable strength over your opponent if you are able to pimp slap them away or down especially if they stay down. If it was a slap and it just forced the opponent back a bit and face turned or something and he/she came right back for more than no That would just mean it just be a slap with a lot of shock value lol.

3. Thanos, I personally I think he has the h2h quickness and reflexes to keep up with the faster characters out there. I also believe him to be much more durable and the strength a few notches higher that DS.

He was in Warrior Madness state AND with the PG. Even if Thor wasn't able to control at full power the gem, like Thanos is able to do, it still gives you a big upgrade. Like Drax (the dumb) becoming in Hulk's league, in strength department.
So a Thor who is multiple time more powerful that normal + with a huge upgrade is still a monster. He slapped around Classic Strange and Silver Surfer, with the Infinity Watch too, not a little feat.
Thor rocked Thanos clones, but Thanos itself? Nah.
drax in possession of the power gem was borderline brain dead. he didn't really tap into the gem which he at first thought it was a jelly bean and ate the damn thing.
thor in warrior madness mode was well....mad. he was slowly adjusting but it was not full power control, though thanos calculated that in due time he would be out of their power to stop

As brain dead as he was, he was still able to pass through suns and so forth unscathed. He definately benefitted from the gem.

Thanos has pimp-slapped the living embodiment of the American spirit and ideals during the Infinity Gauntlet run... That's a hell of a feat. It's not just strength that makes for a great backhand, it's also finesse.
