None of the celestials are multiversal.

None of them.

If Kubik can warp an entire Universe into a sphere the size of his hand,
which he can easily crush if he wishes to,
and Beyonder can affect reality on a multi-universal scale,
then surely Celestials (at-least 616) which are >>> Cube beings,
are multiversal powers.

Merlyn is Omniversal...

He is a supremely weak character.

While Merlyn was merged to the energy matrix (omniversal)
he was one of the top Gods of the Marvelverse, (some of the greatest feats ever)
only beneath Jaspers, and the LT as far as we know.

Unless you're referring to Claremont's new Merlyn,
which is a whole nother power-set that's disconnected from the energy matrix.

But they have never done these things on panel?

True, Celestials have never had a reason to tamper with the Multiverse,
or multiple universes, (reason being they work for Eternity/Infinity)
but Kubik has peformed his feat on panel, and so has Beyonder,
and one average Celestial was about to erase both of them with a gesture,
luckily for both of them, they were judged worthy by said Celestial.

Also, when a Celestial is born, it's a cosmic event,
this cosmic event is said to rival a big bang.

Celestials are probably the most mysterious characters in Marvel,
save for the BeyonderS.

The Celestial which was birthed in the Black Galaxy

Indeed they are and that adds to the mystique

You know what they have done on panel? They sing a song and make people sleep!

What song?

Its called the "Song of the Sleeper". Tiamut put the Earth to sleep and was goin to set back time nearly 14 Billion years

What song?

Recently Tiamut sang in the new eternal series, and everyone took a nap.

I doubt that was Tiamut's intention. The Watcher was still awake, and even the Eternals were awake.

lol

It's like a flute was used to summon you. 'Oh noes, Merlyn is being talked of in a derogatory manner!'

So what was Merlyn in the Die by Swords mini?

Also, was this stated on-panel, as I don't care about the Exiles.

A universe lives within Tiamut’s conscious.

Voice of reason at last.

I was to the point where I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at this thread.

Just plain ol' Merlyn,
which is still supposed to be powerful, (how powerful exactly is a guess)
but surely no where near as powerful as he was during his merger to the Matrix.

Anyway, Claremont made a fool of Merlyn in that arc, imo,
like yea, he's invulnerable to Jaspers blowing a torso wide hole through him,
but then gets stomped by psylock hand to hand. 😐

Yes, it was depicted and stated on panel in an Excalibur issue,
when Brian & company destroyed the 616 Watch Tower.

To be honest,
I never have been absolutely certain about Merlyn's position since then,
because I know for a fact that the permanent Matrix is still in affect,
and Roma has a direct connection to it through her Starlight Citadel,
which is an omniversal nexus ... so wtf.
