Fighting Nigerian Email Scams

Have you ever gotten one of those Nigerian scams in your email? You know - where they say you won millions in a lottery (or whatever)?
Well the webmaster on this site http://www.419hell.com/ answers those scam emails and does everything he can think of to mess with the scammer's head and waste their time.

Here is a fake photo ID that one of the scammers sent him...
(I think I could eat a photo with some paper and poop a more convincing ID!)

I usually just post the e-mail address and message on /b/

alistair darling, he's a sneaky man, got my cousin twice

I get e-mails all the time saying I won some lottery in some foreign country, or e-mails saying they will pay me X amount of money to exchange a certain amount for U.S currency

i just delete that crap before i even look at it
really who believes stuff like that?

thats what I do, I bet there are people who do fall for it

Well, thank you for the consideration for all the work I am doing for removing it. I do NOT have a magic button you know.

Please try and show some appreciation.

😂 Someone mentioned what a hell the next mod will go through removing the pictures

I just go to a forum site and show it to others.

Dude! Don't blame the victim.... that's just so.... republican. 😛

Use MailWasher, an alternative e-mail client to Outlook or Thunderbird.

It filters spam messages effectively.

Is that were they email who ever emails you for you and asks them if they are human?

That guy in the fake ID looks like ************ester.

Seeing as how I don't give a rats ass about politics either way, I'm not being republican. I'm being Ken and giving my opinion, not acting a certain way.

That is quite a sad attempt truly. Even an amateur at "419"can do better than that.

I picked the worst of the bunch. But many of the IDs are not much better.
