Yeah, but that doesn't show wether or not all the planet has been sent into orbital velocity. For all we know that planet will eventually reassemble. If its gravity is still entact because planetary orbital velocity hasn't been achieved this, will happen.

Planet-busting has been achieved; what happens afterwards is the next chapter. I mean, if we really, really wanna make sure the planet is gone for good, then maybe the title of this thread should be Planet Vaporizing (which, I would think, would require way more energy than just busting it up).

Hence my claim,
"Planet busting is alot easier to achieve than planet moving" Planet busting is generally constituted as doing planetary scale damage. Where as real planet busting means full on deathstar sending the whole planet into orbit. I don't think there are MANY characters who can achieve this. The sun takes nearly a whole year to give off enough energy to do this.

Not the whole planet. 😬 Though, a full out fight probably would do the job if neither was worried about collateral damage.
For pure strength, not many can do it. But if you include energy, matter manip, and slower methods, plenty of people can do it. Like igniting a planet's atmosphere, or a destroying or altering the core, or smashing all fault lines on a planet.
Yes, Doctor Strange has done it - to a living planet (like Ego), even. He killed the planet first then blew it up.
GL Villain Traitor also has done so.
Pre - Crisis Superman and Supergirl also killed a living planet (only shown in a flashback)
Darkseid switched two planets between dimensions, don't know if that counts.
Obviously Galactus has done it a lot
Beyonder did it casually for no reason other than showing off
Same with IG Thanos
Normal Thanos has too
So has Drax, BRB, Odin, Surtur, etc.
I think Adam Warlock did once but I might be wrong
SBP has
Kyle Rayner did, so have some other GLs, lots of them in fact, I can't name them all
Annihilus's armies destroyed a lot of planets in the Annihilation War
Solar from Valiant destroyed planets a lot - even created them sometimes
From Crossgen, Danik, Charon, Solusandra, Qztr, and some others have done it
Surfer and Morg and Terrax have
Nova destroyed a star so destroying a planet shouldn't be too hard for her
Obviously I'm not mentioning the guys who just destroyed galaxies/universes which obviously have planets included
I believe Dr. Strange has destroyed more than one; one a "living" planet, like Ego is.
And another one was a planet that was utterly devoid of life, during the Englehart run WAY back when, although it wasn't planet busting in the Superman-Prime sense; he slipped into astral form, went into the core, and set off a chain reaction of destruction that blew the planet apart. Still counts.
