Project Sovereign: Role Play Thread

~Lily hit the ground and looked up to see Jacob fire and then run.~ JACOB!!! ~She scrambled to her feet and ran after them both. However she stopped short of the door when Bullets started to fly.~

Jacob turned to fire, but was thrown forward by the angel. The only thing that saved him was the gunfire that hit the angel, distracting him long enough for Jacob to move. He limped down a hallway where found a puddle of blood and a shotgun. Doing what he knew best, he opened a door, and hid directly at the corner, forcing the barrel in the angel's face right as it came it. Pulling the trigger, he sent the angel back, tearing it's head off.

=Jason flinched a bit as the angels head turned into gore. He then ran over to its body and put a few rounds into it, kicked it once then looked to Jacob.=

What the hell was that thing!?! And where Is Lily?!

~Lily waited for the bullets to stop and right when she heard Jasons voice she lite up and ran out of the door and down the hall. She jumped up and hugged Jason tightly~ JASON! Im so glad your here! ~She then let him go and slammed her fist into his arm~ WHAT TOOK YOU!?!?

Tack... uhm ...fired his pistol, covering Lily.

Jacob smiled at the two, and then went to one knee, feeling a stream of blood go down his back. His armor had been pierced and blood was slowly pouring out. "Ha.. just my luck"

Tack passed his lighter to him, and a shotgun shell was taped to it. "Y'know how to do it right. Use the powder."

Jacob shook his head, and pushed it away. "That's not how I work, soldier." Jacob removed his helmet and set it to the side, and leaned back against the wall.

Tack smiled at Jacob, then crouched down beside him. Reloading his pistol, he retrieved his lighter. "Couldn't hurt to try it now. Rambo lived."

"As long as I am in this suit, my vitals will be sustained. I'll tend to it after. These suits are a ***** to put on." Jacob pushed himself up again, grimacing a little, and checking his weapons.

~Lily looked to Jacob and gasped. She let go of Jason and ran over to him taking hold of his arm, a very worried expression on her face.~ We really should look at it. I mean the thing is dead.. as far as i can tell.. and i can help with the suit. ~she gave a tiny smile~

=Jason made his way over, leaning his rifle to his shoulder.=

Either of you mind telling me what the F***!! that was?!

Jacob smiled at Lily, and put his hand on her shoulder. "I've survived worse." He then looked to Jason. "That was an angel. Heavily mutated, and highly viral. DON'T touch it, unless you want to be one."

=Jason nodded a bit.=

No touchy. Got it.

=He turned around=

By the way you should check your peoples attitudes towards guests. One guard up there said that he hoped you both died down here.

"He said that because I was one of the people that accidentally got Sovereign off the ground. I worked for them, back when they were using cloning to help, rather than to destroy."

~Lily smiled softly at Jacob and placed her hand softly to his cheek. She looked at him for a moment before standing up straight~ We should get back up now that the generator is working again.

"Yeah, I think we had better move topside." Tack said to them as he kept the entrance covered. "Lets g- Look out!" The white beam erupted from another creature above them. Tack threw himself to the side, pushing Lily to the left and towards the ground. He got in the way and the beam hit Tack directly in the chest. His body was lifted of it's feet, no-longer under his control, careening through the air it slammed into the wall twenty meters beyond the generator with a sickening crunch.

The creature made a garbled series of noises, all unpleasent, and sent an ear piercing shirek at the combatents. It moved forward through the doorway crawling along the wall like a giant ant, its stinger/plasma hide glowing as it prepared for another blast.

Tacks body flopped to the floor. His suit registered his life signs and acted to keep his vital signs pumping, while shutting off the damage until medical treatment could be administered.

(shoot its abdomen where it stores plasma and the creature explodes, basically an armoured ant with bug plasma, though StarShip Troopers wasn't my inspiration)

Jacob turned and fired, but did little to hurt them. The highly territorial angels screamed and flew forward, tackling the other creature. The angel proceeded to beat the creature viciously until it was convinced that it was dead. It let out another scream as it was hit by the beam of another creature. "What the hell... they are fighting?" Jake mumbled to himself as he moved to help Lily up, and then see if Tack was even alive.

~Lily let out a yelp as Tack pushed her out of the way. She quickly turned over to see him get hit by the beam, her own eyes wide in shock. She watched the creature as it approched then get hammered by more angels. she finally snapped out of it when Jacob came over and helped her up. She instinctivly threw her arms around his neck in a tight hug before letting go and running over to Tack~

Jacob looked to Lily and Jason. "Get him out of here, now!" Jacob turned and fired on the angel and new creatures. All seemed to be in a bitter battle with one another. Looking back once more, he yelled. "That's an order, not a suggestion!"

((Angels want to be the only species on the entire planet. They kill EVERYTHING))
