There fighting to the best of their abilities. Theoretically speaking, the martian should be a team wrecker. Can you imagine what a shape shifting, super strengh, speed, intagiable bloodluste martian would be capable of doing. And even if he isn't on the surfer's level, he can handle him long enough for Clark or billy to aid him.
