Mum-rah has also been shown to be proficient at both physical combat as much as magical attacks. Skeletor (despite his intensely muscular frame) seldom fights physically and usually prefers ranged attacks and deceit and runs away when the battle heats up.
The only draw back that mum-rah has is that he has a limited time span when he's actually mum-rah (he needs to go back to being his mummy version to recharge).
Ofcourse, i haven't read any comics of thundercats or he-man, i'm basing this entirely on my memories on the cartoons.

I don't know much about Mum-Rah so I'm not trying to call a winner here, but I think you're seriously underestimating Skeletor's skill in combat with both spell and sword...

I mean, toon version wise.. it kinda depends doesn't it?
Old school cartoon Skeley wasn't much of a threat aside from loads of magic, where as Mumm-ra was a threat on both a spell casting and physical level.
People are saying Skeley got his ass kicked, but look at who he was fighting.. 😬 That kinda matters ya know?

The new toon Skeletor was an absolute beast and would probably stomp all over old school Mumm ra

In terms of comics, their both quite a bit more threatening than any of their counterparts. Skeletor has put PC Superman to the floor with one attack iirc using his magic and power sword, Mummmra one shotted him, and both regularly engage their nemesis' with far better results than they had in either show... so that's a tough call.

I'd say Mum-Ra he actually was more powerful then the Thundercats whereas Skeletor was clearly inferior to his foes and relied on tech and minions.

I dont know about them in the comics, but the most recent cartoon version of Skeletor, would beat the hell outta ol school Mum-ra. Plus, Mum's probably has one the worse weaknesses ever, lol.

Irm... Skeletor is fighting a foe who's power is literally to be the strongest man in the universe. YIKES!

Lion-o is barely superhuman if at all. It wouldn't take much for Mums to be more powerful than his foes, where power set practically dictates that Skeletor simply can't be... 😬

Cool scans. So that long haired blue dude is/was skeletor? How'd he get the skin back on his bones?

Well, I do admit i've never read any comics of both thundercats and he-man, I based my opinions entirely on the 90's show. Then again, the cartoons were made for kids, so I understand that they might have downplayed skeletor's lethalness greatly.

true however lion-o sword power is amazing it was able to send a foe to another plant with asurd ease.

What are some of the capabilities of Lion-o's sword? I'm a He-Man nut, but I never got all that much into Thundercats. Are their books worth grabbing?

Not completely sure. It been used to see into the future, can cut pritty much anything, grow in length, shoot magicall energy, create unbreakable like beams that can transfer other many thousand of miles within seconds ect.

I like them how ever they were discontiuned.

Both of them have extremely cool voices, on different ends of the tone spectrum, so they win because they can ummm....make you think about things by talking about them. Because when Mum-Rah and or Skeletor talk......you listen.
