Dead Rising 2!!!!

Capcom has announced that Dead Rising will get a sequel (finally).

Instead of a mall, the game will be set in a town called Fortune City, a city that looks similar to Las Vegas.

Sadly Frank West won't be making a return. Instead, some other guy will take his place killing unlimited hordes of undead.

This game will be on both the PS3, Xbox 360, and the PC.

They haven't announced a release date for the game yet.

Hurry up with that game Capcom, my craving for killing zombies is increasing.

Why are you always asking them to hurry up? Its just been announced, kid. Let them spend time on it. Its for the better.

Cool. Hopefully the save system isn't a disaster in this one.

My thoughts exactly. The save system from the first one was so bad that I didn't even play the game that much.

The game frustrated the hell out of me.

Very cool concept, but I got so annoyed with it.

the savesystem annoyed me at first but I appreciated it later.

I only just found out how you can start off with a super strong Frank West with the save system when you start a new game

Thats what they said about the first one it was gonna come out for the PS3 and take a look at what happen

It's coming out on the PS3 this time. Capcom needs to make money and having three versions will do that.

Just who the heck is that blonde haired guy? I can already tell that he ain't a journalist because he doesn't seem to have a camera around him.
I think he might be a security guard for the casino in Fortune city.

I don't know why all games these days don't offer a save anywhere feature ( ESPECIALLY Grand Theft Auto) but the save system was one of the least troublesome issue's i had with the first Dead Rising. Hopefully your cell phone won't ring every five minutes in the next one. Also, a more friendly HUD and overall interface would help a great deal.

A psychopath? Doubt it. In Dead Rising, you fight psychopaths.

It would make sense why Frank West isn't returning in the sequel. At the end of the story in the first DR, there is a text saying that Frank feels hungry. Meaning that Frank is turning into a zombie. Because of Frank, the infection has spread and that's how we got DR2.

Otis better not come back. He annoys the hell out of me. Whenever a zombie interrupts my phone chat, Otis calls back and says how rude I am. Whenever I'm on the phone, I can't attack, I can't jump, and I can't climb.

I hate the time limit. I can't seem to get every survivor whenever one of my missions are nearly over. You think Capcom would have somehting in the DLC store that would get rid of that accursed time limit but no. Hopefully in the sequel, the time limit won't be in there.

What's with the save systems? In games like Mass Effect I can save even while in the middle of a gun fight but in Dead Rising I have to save by either sleeping on a couch or taking a leak.

I find these three to be the only problems so hopefully they'll all be fixed in the sequel.

There was a reason why that time limit was in place

Frank is dropped on top of the city's mall by helicopter; he tells the pilot, Ed DeLuca, to return in 72 hours

Now with that out of the way, yeah the trailer didn't really show much only the giant hamster ball and that Isabella has created the Zombie cure, Zombex, shame that we won't play as Frank again i really liked him but i guess if he doesn't fit in with the story, well it's for the best. I look forward to Dead Rising 2 I just home they fix all the problems from the first oh and add a CO-OP mode.

This is very interesting. Blue Castle says that there will be over 6,000 zombies on screen. That's a friggin lot.
