Didn't Zeus have to trick Kratos in the beginning to beat him?
I thought Zeus couldn't kill the "other Gods"? Kratos was close to death. Anyway, Kratos may wound Cronos, but killing him? When he says "real life" he means Greek Myth, because in Greek Myth no God could fight 1 Titan along. It took Hades, Zeus, Poseidon, 3 of the Titan's Children, and tons of other Gods. The Fates are weak. We still don't know "how" Kratos will kill Cronos.

Still tricked him.
"Still tricked him" Zeus gave Kratos a chance, and he didn't accept, so Zeus slayed him[besides he was afraid of Kratos.
BTW, I don't think The Fates may be DEAD, and he just has control over the mirrors, because if he "took" their powers, he would have became God of The Underworld/God of Wisdom when he slayed Persephone/Athena, I thought only other Gods could make someone a God[well atleast Athena made Kratos one].
Would you exactly call it "a trick"? I mean he bascially took advantage of Kratos when he was weak, it's not like Kratos was forced to drain his powers, he already damaged the statue badly enough.
