Conservation of momentum. Thats some basic physics for you. If Wonder woman hits hulk coming to halt that will mean her momentum is transferred to hulk. He will move back at roughly a fifth of her speed.
Maybe you think Hulk can catch her, gradually slowing her down with his arms. He doesn't have the strength or speed to do that at his base levels.
You think Hulk can brace himself in time. If she moves at lightspeed she'd reach hulk in 1.67 x 10^-6 seconds. Can hulk move at the mach 200 speeds needed to do that?
