I think she means by way of sperm being ejaculated close to the vagina (the man pulling out or whatnot), and then making its way down/up the vaginal opening, but that's quite difficult to do. It'd be a long shot, but I guess, technically speaking, its possible.

Well, yes, technically it is. But the chances of sperm leaking out the ass and making it's way not only into the vagina, but to an egg while still staying viable is extremely slim.
On a side note, it turns out this kid isn't the father, DNA testing proved it, she was sleeping around with several other teens.
