Never really see SRV coming above Hendrix in any list.
As for playing Hendrix better than Hendrix...Hendrix wrote the stuff...Something SRV could only dream of doing. Instead he churned out generic blues song after generic blues song....Not denying he did them with tremendous skill. But he couldn't write the kind of stuff Hendrix could...He would only copy.
