^Ya know, I'm not sure. And I understand their loyalty to the Alliance, but they wouldn't even talk to you, it kinda made me sad.

Exactly. I understand their loyalty to the alliance, but come on....after everything they have been through and seeing with their eyes the horrors the reapers unleashed and how the alliance was sitting on its ass with the rest of council....Even when they experience the collectors abducting everyone and Shepard fighting everyone...I mean this is the Shepard who went out of his way to stand up for the galaxy when everyone else was too busy with politics. It pained me to see them get engulfed by them. Its like they are nothing without Shepard *sigh* And what about Anderson...he was THE MAN in ME1 and now he is either a lame council member without experience or Udina's *****(who I swear I want to shoot in ME3)

well they do apologize to you. But it has been 2 years and you can see they are happy to see you at first, then after they find out you've been working with the enemy its just a big surprise. They do apoloigze after its just that right when it happens they just you turn up working with their enemy. While i agree they shoul have waited for you to explain I can see why they end up not joining.

Ashleys loyalty to the alliance over Shepard is the pretty much the whole reason I dumped her at least Miranda is more loyal to Shepard then she is to cerberus. Agreed on wanting to shoot Udina in the next game the guy might be the biggest ass in video game history.

Udina and Rico stalemate when it comes to biggest ******* in a vg.

YouTube video

You know...the one thing I miss from ME1 is Saren. He was such a ****ing badass, deep character too.

Mass Effect Controversy... and it's parodies...

Ah, memories.

Finished ME2 earlier. Really excellent stuff. One of the best games I've ever played. I don't think I've ever felt such a strong connection with a group of video game characters as I did in ME2.

The ending is brilliant as well, really sets up the next game wonderfully, making the wait almost painful.

QFT.

I think the suicide mission is what makes ME2 brilliant. You really can't discuss the suicide mission until you've taken the time tocare for your comrades.

Whats the Conrad Verner bug? I met him and then I heard he died trying to jump onto some transport or something like that. I hope the majority of the squad members in this game are allies in Mass Effect 3 but I'd take wrex over grunt anyday.
The conrad verner bug? I was a paragon in ME1 and i was very nice to conrad and told him to go home, he thanks me for setting straight.

I import my character from ME1 and when i met him on illium, he is a huge jackass and claimed i shoved a gun in his face in ME1.

So I'm trying to complete ME1 with a femshep to carry over to ME2, but after playing ME2 I just can't... I'm about to just start a new generic femshep character in ME2.

Is it due to ME1 being unpolished and clunky?

Yes, it's actually exactly that.
All those small things bug me. The shooting mechanism, for example, looks so unfinished and clunky after ME2. You screw up getting into cover like every time.

Not to mention the copy + paste UNC missions and horrible inventory system.

You play ME2 on 360 or pc?

When you meet Conrad again, shooting him in the foot and kneeing him in the gut is so satisfying. And that Asari from the bar with the Krogan dad is hilarious.

The Matriarch Bartender? I thought she was a cool char.

Just finished it also.

Pretty much what he said.

But one huge complaint. Scanning for planets is a lot worst this game than last. I'm dreading having to do that next time I play it.

Agreed.

And I'm playing both on the PC.

I was also very dissapointed. I mean, they faced so much together and had such a tight bond. Then, after two years of finding out your captain is dead, all Garrus sais when he sees you approaching from the side is. "Shepard?"

I was portraying my encounter with every one of my former squad members to be alot more... Emotional, or memorable. The only one that I was satisfied with was Wrex's.

I like the fact they tried to make it into a part of the gameplay, but ya, it gets quite annoying. At least in the next playthrough you get a whole lot of materials at the beginning.

To everyone: at the end,

Spoiler:
Who in your squad died? I lost Legion, Mordin, Grunt, and Thane.

^Play it over, and I'll tell you how to keep everyone alive.

Spoiler:
Have the Thanatix Cannon, Upgraded Shield, and Upgraded Armor Plating
Vent: Tali/Legion
1st Squad Leader: Garrus/Miranda/Jacob
Biotic Barrier: Samara/Morrinth/Jack
2nd Squad Leader: Garrus/Miranda/Jacob
Crew escort: Grunt/Garrus(Apparently)
Final Assault: Thane/Mordin, or Thane/Tali

And Garrus' reaction is hilarious, it's just like him to say that.

I'll do that for my next playthrough, but I'd rather keep it my first game the way it is.

I didn't have that and I finished the game with nobody dying.
