Tough match. Through the stupidity of the LOTF writers, Caedus is both a saber and force powerhouse. However, Marek has displayed greater aptitude with the force, while Caedus seems the superior saber duelist.

Agreed. Caedus is more powerful than his grandfather, but who beat his grandfather - Marek.

Caedus utterly rapes Marek in the duel. The Force contest is close, and the all-out goes firmly to Caedus; Marek isn't powerful enough to simply outmuscle him, and he doesn't stand a chance when Caedus closes in.

You're definitely right about the Force - both did rip down starships and defeated powerful Masters. Caedus was stronger than Vader and Marek had the possible capacity to be stronger than Kyp. Caedus had both Jedi and some Sith training. Better lightsaber skills as well and tolerance of pain. Stranger things have happened though. Caedus was nearly killed by Mara and Marek certainly is by far stronger than Mara.

When did Caedus/Jacen "rip down" a starship? I know I searched for most of his feats when I posted about him Project Holocron.

Caedus was nearly killed by Mara and Marek certainly is by far stronger than Mara.

Mara had the advantage of the terrain, I wonder how Marek would have fared in that situation. He he shown more as far as tk goes, which would be useful there but he can't create an illusion which saved (plus a poison dart) Caedus and is there any information about Marek's unarmed combat skills.

Faunus is right though, sabers goes caedus, force is very close and the all out will go to Caedus.

Sabers: Close, I just bought the FU novel today and Marek is actually a beast in saber's, but is overshadowed by his force power's. Plus he has access to the forms, which imo give someone an edge in saber fights, but Caedus might still win.
Force: Marek. He has the power and can use it effectively enough to beat the emo brat. Mind/exotic powers might be a problem though.
All-out: Marek.
