Omega might take the majority, but I don't think it would be an easy battle by any means. Personally, I don't think there's much Omega did that Prime would be incapable of. However, Prime's Guardian amp seemed much more finite than Omega's power - and that's the main reason I see him taking this.

Take a good look at Prime's feats while he was amped. I personally think he could pound through the same peeps Omega did.

On another note, just because you throw the title 'pre-crisis' in front of a character's name, doesn't mean they get an auto-win srsly. Granted, most PC characters have very high showings - but for the most part, they also have ridiculously low showings. Say it with me... "BALANCE."

yeah, they were all over the place, but they're highs are just as good as Prime's. It's not like they did them once and they were forgotten.

I don't get all the SBP's wank fest. He's clearly powerful, but he's not special. Give him 30 years of page time and I'm sure he'll have some bad showings, too.

He's not faster than a PC brick or stronger. And he's certainly not as smart.

Which is why character balance is key - especially when debating pre-crisis characters.

Well, I think barring the ridiculous PC feats (like sneezing in space), he's nearly as strong as PC Superman (at Prime's base). But as fast and all that? Nah. Nor as smart. And PC Omega >>> PC Supes.

At one point, that's all the PC characters (Kryptonians) were doing. Silly feats. Mixed in with some bad, yes, but the good outweighs the bad, IMO.

And seeing that Omega is all the hate in the universe and Prime is finite... You're right there.

Superboy also broke free from phantom zone type dimensions as well. Just by moving.

Pretty much. IMO, they'd start out near the same level - but as the battle went on Prime's amp would eventually wear off, whereas Omega's power would stay consistent.

Like I said - just don't see it being easy.

Moving planets isn't all that when you're talking PC. I mean Superman did fly into heaven. Superman did bear the force of a universe caving in or at least most of it.

I'm betting if Superman or Monel (PC) wanted to take over current DC earth and rip through GL's, I bet they could.

But for all that power, Prime wasn't able to take out Ion easily like he should have.

b.) There is no way Prime was at full power during that fight.

I forgot Prime needed a boost to contend. 😉 Seriously, Superman while weakened was able to move planets. So, it can work both ways.
