He talked about how it was a supermassive star INGOT. Meaning (I believe), it was essentially a gigantic metal ball, superheated... still, as he says in the scan, diminutive compared to our own sun.

Our own sun is not supermassive. It's not even 'big', as suns go. This piece of metal was a diminutive, temporary stand in.

Yeah, I was under the impression that DC retconned Majestic when they brought WS under the DC umbrella. Looking at Majestics early feats would be like using Supes' PC feats.

You know the drill, DC won't let anyone be stronger than Supes if they can help it...

^ Assuming Majestic got retconned because in DC appearances he is depicted as being on Superman's level? Then yes... Trinity wins.

Going by Majestic's overall career and multitude of feats? Majestic takes this fight. Concerning the latter:
