River's Edge, but since it's an opinionated question, that's just my opinion.

titanic because its made the most money, duh

Equilibrium...Star Wars (both Trilogies), Knowing (at the moment), and several others that escape my mind.

Gladiator imo, although thats only if I had to choose, if I didnt id certainly say many films would be just as great, I chose Gladiator just because its one of the great films ive seen the most.

I'd like to add, The Matrix trilogy. One of my favs...by far. Maybe even my favs.

Is this technically a favorite movie thread?

Well, The Matrix Revolutions, The Phantom Menace and A Nicholas Cage Movie are certainly not among the greatest films of all time, so I'd say... yeah.

On the other hand, the genuine "best films of all time", in my opinion, ignoring what my favourites are:

The Godfather
The Godfather: Part II
Taxi Driver

Raging Bull, Goodfellas and Shawshank are up there too, I guess.
