Quaint even.

Yep.

This happened to my head when I was riffing earlier and I was briefly reminded of the gophers to come in Indy V:

I don't see the difference with your normal look.... or is the the position of the keyboard?

Actually youre right. Thats what it was.....
The keyboard was 6 inches to the left of where it normally was. 😛

I knew it... no one puts his keyboard there.

Well you can see now the musical extremes I have to deal with.

Nobody dared dream even that it was possible, that they could put a keyboard there...!!!!

Thats really pushing the music envelope...!! 😛

I bet no one believed you when you said it could be done.

They DID..!

And they were all proven fools, the lot of them...!! 😛

Suits them! Proved them wrong!

Keyboard placement scepticism is rife in this day and age.

You are way ahead of your time.

Next week, Im planning to place it.. 8 inches in front of the kitchen door.

THAT'll upset the purists. 😮‍💨

OH noo.... that's outrageous... Do you know what you are doing? What risks are at stake??? OMG!

I know... it could devastate my standing in the instrument placement community for ever, if it is not seen as the bold creative statement that I feel it would be.

I knew a man once who wanted to break convention in the placement of his mic-stand, by moving it only 3 inches left of of his usual placement parameters. This got round among the upper echelons and was rejected most thoroughly.

Suffice to say he was a figure of ridicule 'til his dying day.

(Which was the next Thursday, as the instrument placement community are a most proactive lot.)😖hifty:

But now, no doubt, he is considered a genius among the audio community.

Hindsight rarely benefits the dead, in real terms.. and buts its good that the public conciousness is ready for such seemingly radical thinking now that they have changed their fickle minds. 😛

There are rumours coming in from the far east that Japan is experimenting with placing Bass guitars exactly 4.2 inches at 42 degrees left of where they would normally be.

Their precision always amazes me.

The Japanese always do crazy things...

Crazy things with great precision.

That's what makes it crazy.
